The most expensive part of moving is the packing.

Where do you find affordable packing supplies? Moving companies will sell you boxes and other packing supplies, but you can usually find better prices if you shop around.

  • ABC stores have boxes they are happy to give away- they are obviously sturdy and good for your smaller breakables; and they’re free.
  • Grocery stores will hold diaper boxes and/or cereal  boxes- flattened- after they stock shelves- you just have to work around the stores schedule;  and they’re free.
  • U-Haul ( sells boxes and many other moving supplies at lower prices than you may find them at an office- supply store.  You can also get a full refund at any U-Haul location nationwide for unused boxes (don’t forget your receipt).
  • Internet sites like boxesdelivered. com sells packing supplies at prices that can be 20 percent or more below those of office- supply stores and movers, and offers free shipping on larger orders.
  • Please be advised we offer full service or just a piece or two professional packing with our own materials – at additional cost to your move.  Happy to accomodate your needs.
